Spencer and Richman’s reputation as Britain’s finest fireplace designers and carvers results from Always and Only using high quality materials, and insisting on Master Craftsman quality hand carving in England following proven historical carving techniques.

No work is produced in China or the Far East. No materials are sourced from China. All stone is sourced in Britain, much of it only a few miles from the Somerset workshops, and marble is from Italy and, occasionally, England.

Unfortunately, this is not true of all well known fireplace companies.
